After making an impressive Bollywood debut in Tere Bin Laden, Pakistani actor Ali Zafar has had a slew of high profile offers. As he awaits the release of his big banner project, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Ali admits that his Bollywood innings have been impressive enough for him to consider shifting base to India.
“If I’m doing more Hindi films, I will be spending more time in India. But I’ll have to rent a place for myself then,” he says with a smile. There is one setback to his newfound prominence in India though. Ali’s wife will not be joining him. And that’s because moving to India involves a lot of legal formalities. “That’s why I don’t want my wife to accompany me. I have to travel a lot because of my shoot schedules, and everything is so fast paced. She wouldn’t be able to handle it. Back home, she is able to lead a far more relaxed life,” Ali says.
