Tusshar praises senior John
Actors Tusshar Kapoor and John Abraham who will be seen playing friends in their upcoming film Shootout at Wadala have a little something in common apart from their profession — their school. Turns out the two were schoolmates, although three years apart.
Remembering the time spent at school, Tusshar says, “Yes, John was my senior in school. I was in the seventh standard when he was in the tenth. In fact, he was my captain in the Yellow House. I remember he was an achiever — both academically as well as in sports. He was a very focused student.”
On a lighter note he adds that even as a teenager, John knew to work his charm with everyone. “He was good with his PR skills even back in school. He conducted himself so well that he was a favourite among the teachers as well as the classmates,” he says.
Tusshar admits that they are great work partners and had a good time shooting for the film, reminiscing about school days, but that is as far as their relationship goes. “John’s great guy and fun to work with, but that’s that. We’re not great buddies off screen. We keep things to ourselves, work and go home rather than socialise off the sets. That’s how we both prefer it. We can’t be fake,” says Tusshar whose character in the film is responsible for making John turn to shades of grey.
