A tweet start for Anil

The close bond between Anil Kapoor and his daughters Rhea and Sonam is admired in B’town, and the senior actor has always talked about just how much he owes his girls. Well, chalk another one down — Anil says his daughters have finally convinced him to step into the world of micro-blogging.

The actor created a Twitter account on Tuesday and expressed just how grateful he was to Sonam and Rhea for convincing him to, right in his first tweet. “So after all that coaxing by my digitally savvy daughters, I am finally on Twitter. Let’s connect!” he tweeted.
While we thought the nod to his daughters was particularly sweet, some cynical voices in the industry muttered that Anil’s Twitter debut coincides rather neatly with the launch for his TV show — the desi version of 24.
