Vidya Balan has been making some special adjustments for Ekta Kapoor’s Dirty Picture. The actor not only agreed to a hectic shooting schedule, which starts at 7 am everyday and goes on til 11 pm, but also agreed to put on weight. But Vidya, being a thorough professional did it all without throwing never threw any starry tantrums. However, it seems that she will have to go the extra mile once again.
Apparently, Vidya is down with high fever. Unfortunately, the shooting schedule of Dirty Picture that was supposed to begin in mid-June, has been thrown off-track due to Vidya’s poor health.
“Initially we thought it was just a viral fever, but Vidya continued to feel weak and the fever kept going up. We had to postpone the shoot for Dirty Picture,” says our source from Balaji Motion Pictures Ltd.
The current scenario is that the entire unit of the film has left for Hyderabad and Vidya is now scheduled to join them on July 1. The doctors have put her on medication and her health is improving. But she has been advised bed rest for the next couple of days,” says Vidya’s friend.
Dirty Picture is one of the most important films in VB’s career. Right now she is trying to understand the nuances and details of the character of Silk Smita. And knowing Vidya’s penchant for perfection, she will surely get it right. Here’s wishing she a speedy recovery.
