From underworld don to terrorist
After playing a gangster in Milan Luthria’s Once Upon A Time In Mumbai, Ajay Devgn will now essay the role of a terrorist in Ratan Jain’s next film titled Bullet Train. Sources inform that Devgn will play a terrorist in the Priyadarshan-directed film, which is supposed to be inspired by Jan de Bont’s 1994 thriller Speed.
The film will be shot on an actual subway train speeding from London to Glasgow. Vidya Balan and Sameera Reddy are being considered for the female leads. The film, which will go on the floors in the first week of September, also stars Anil Kapoor and Manoj Bajpai.
The latest we hear is that Kunal Kapoor was signed on for the lead role, but was later dropped following the lukewarm response that his last film Lamhaa generated. Our sources tell us that Tusshar Kapoor has replaced Kunal Kapoor. Tusshar confirmed that he has signed the project, though he said he had no idea if he has replaced anyone.
