Varun gears up for dad’s film

After a successful debut, Varun Dhawan is all set for his father David Dhawan’s film Main Tera Hero. A close associate of the family says, “David has made sure that the film isn’t just a laugh riot and Varun will play the central protagonist.”
Despite David’s penchant for comedies, this film will be a mixed bag of romance, action, drama along with laughter, reminiscent of Govinda starrers such as Aankhen and Shola Aur Shabnam. David says, “Well, at this point in time, all I can say is that those waiting for Aankhen and Shola Aur Shabnam can brace themselves to witness the flavour of these films, albeit set in the contemporary world.” Currently, Varun is working out and practicing his dance steps for the film that goes on the floors in July.
