Vidya steps aside for Kajol

Trust Vidya Balan to be a sport. At a recent award function, Vidya was seen stepping back to accommodate her colleague Kajol’s demands and avoiding embarrassing incident. Apparently, Kajol, who is currently riding high with Padma Shri and a best actress award under her belt, was being quite the diva. An eye witness reveals, “A number of photographers had surrounded Vidya Balan and were clicking pictures till Kajol stepped in. She blatantly told the photographers in presence of her colleagues that she was not willing to wait, and if they wanted her picture then they could photograph right away.”
A sporting Vidya instantly agreed without any hesitation or awkwardness. “Vidya felt that Kajol is a senior actress and deserved all the respect and attention,” adds our source clarifying, “It might not be that Kajol wanted to throw her weight around. Kajol, these days, is busy with her son Yug who demands most of her attention and she wanted to rush back to him.”
Generally known to be understanding, Vidya took things in her stride. “She let Kajol be the centre of attention,” says our source.
