Vidyut enters the chamber of Shaolin
This little bit of news sounded to us like it had come straight out of the film 36th Chamber of Shaolin! Now we all know that Vidyut Jamwal is quite the martial arts freak. In fact, it is this very expertise that has got him roles in films like Force, Commando and now, Bullet Raja.
But far from taking it easy, Vidyut is talking his martial arts skills up another notch. The actor took a few days off from the shoot of Bullet Raja — in which he plays the antagonist — to attend a closed door martial arts training camp at Shaolin Temple in China.
For Vidyut, who started training in Kerala’s martial arts form Kalaripayattu since the age of three, this was a much-anticipated visit.
Friends of the actor tell us that while he was there, he completely disconnected from everyone and spent an entire week in training. The regime was a rigorous one as it was for martial arts experts and not for novices. But we’re sure that Vidyut has no complaints!
Now will we see a clever producer using Vidyut’s new skills in a desi version of Chamber of Shaolin perhaps?
