Vikram to make a creature film

The Bhatts were the first to introduce small budget films to Bollywood and the gamble seems to have worked and how! At a time when the industry wouldn’t look beyond big names, they brought the best out of newcomers. And now they are poised to introduce yet another new trend in the industry — creature films.

This will be their second 3D film after Raaz 3 and the announcement was made by Vikram Bhatt and camp recently. A source says, “The genre of creature films hasn’t been explored in India and Vikram wants to nail that. Apparently, a few popular technicians will be flown down for Hollywood to finalise the script. Says Bhushan Kumar, who will co-produce the film with the Bhatts, “We’re making the film on the lines of Avatar. Right now, Bipasha is the only one who has been roped in. No one in India has attempted to make a film like this but we’re sure it will set a new benchmark in the industry.”
For now, it’s fingers crossed from desi Avatar.
