Vikram’s set up a ‘haunting’

Vikram Bhatt is all set to unleash a spook fest this year. While his Raaz 3 will go on the floors next week and 1920: Evil Returns is reaching the finish line as well, Vikram is expected to make an official announcement about Haunted 2 as well.
“Yes, there was a huge market demand for Vikram to take forward the Haunted series and make them all in 3D. Of course he can’t be the director for each of them as he is pre-occupied with other films as well. However, he doesn’t want to drop the idea and hence Haunted 2 is definitely on, though the director could be someone else,” a source close to Vikram said.
A surprise success of 2011, Haunted was one of the only films to actually be shot in 3D rather than being converted from 2D. Made on a tight budget, it garnered over `30 crore in India alone, making it logical for Vikram to consider a franchise.
Confirms Vikram, “Yes, Haunted 2 is definitely on, but I can’t reveal the cast.”
