Viveik lets out the child in him
Viveik Oberoi may be more than a decade old in the film industry, but he says that at heart, he still remains a child. He recently revealed how even in school, he always used to be the naughtiest boy in class.
“I was a very naughty child, but I also made sure I never ignored my studies,” he said.
He said that he always ensured he managed to pass exams with good marks, but when it came to playing tricks, he was a brat. “Whenever something went wrong in school, my teachers would hold me responsible. In fact, I was so naughty, that I wouldn’t even leave teachers alone. Many times I would sneak into the staff room and eat up the teachers’ lunch,” he laughed. “When they would later open their boxes, they would be horrified to find them empty,” he said.
Today, Viveik funds the education of many under-privileged children, and says that he considers it his duty to help the needy members of the society. “My parents have taught me that inner happiness can be achieved only by doing something good for others. I totally believe in this. Everybody should take time out from their busy schedule to spread happiness around,” he said.
Viveik says that on the professional front, he is looking forward to Ram Gopal Varma’s next venture Rakta Charitra, where he is essaying the role of politician Paritala Ravi.
