Vivek’s starry image fails to impress cop

He may be making every effort to claw back at his estranged stardom but for the Mumbai traffic cops, Vivek Oberoi is just an aam aadmi. While shooting for his latest film, there was a scene in the movie where Vivek and Esha Gupta had to ride a bike on Worli seaface, while the crew took a long shot of them from way behind.

At one point Vivek drifted way ahead of the crew car on the bike. Before he knew it, a dutiful police officer flagged them down and asked for Vivek’s licence. The “jaanta nahin main kaun hoon?” line hardly had any impact and the traffic cop seemed in no mood to relent. Thankfully for the actors, before the cop could fine them, the crew car reached the spot and explained to the cop that they were shooting for a movie. Vivek, sorry darling, but you’re still not quite a star.
