Vivek walks out, Neil gets on board

Vivek Oberoi, who is currently in the quest to revive his lost glory in Bollywood is being extremely choosy with his projects. Shaitaan director Bejoy Nambiar had roped him for his next film David but now things are not working out anymore. According to a source Vivek wasn’t too satisfied with his role in the script that also stars Tabu in the lead. “David is a woman-centric film, which has an average role for the male lead. Probably that’s the reason why Vivek walked out of the project,” says a unit member. And Vivek’s loss has proved to be Neil Nitin Mukesh’s gain, as the actor has stepped onboard the project.
However, more than his actors, Bejoy had a hard time getting Tabu to say “yes” to the film. “Tabu has been declining films for a very long time now. She has instructed her staff that unless a script is super strong, she is not even game for a narration. Bejoy had a tough time convincing her,” adds the source.
