War of the sex symbols

South actor Prithviraj who had a rather steamy entry in Bollywood with Aiyya, is beginning to really enjoy his image as a sex symbol. The actor who got Rani drooling over his hot bod says that he loves the attention he is getting.

But as is the norm in B’town he is doing so not without taking (what we think) a playful dig at the original male sex symbol, John Abraham.
“A male sex symbol does not necessarily have to wear trunks and flex his muscles. A-well toned body will get noticed irrespective of the attire,” he said. But when we reminded Prithvi that John was the original actor to brave the tag, he assured us that his comments were not an attack on John. “I am not comparing myself to John. I am comfortable in my skin. I know that my success down South is not going to help me sustain in Hindi films. I want to work hard and carve an image for myself and not rise based to comparisons to established actors,” he said.
