We’ll find a way, say Huma’s producers

If two of your projects happen to require the same dates, then the fact that they’re from the same production house’s stable has got to ease the situation some.

Now Huma Qureshi is shooting for Vishal Bhardwaj’s Dedh Ishqiya as well as wrapping up some final sequences for Ek Thi Daayan, Vishal Bhardwaj’s co-production with Ekta Kapooor. Some of the dates were bound to overlap — but Huma’s left it to her producers to figure out the nitty gritties of it all.
“There will be some adjustment and we will figure out the dates,” said Tanuj Garg, CEO, Balaji Telefilms when asked about Huma’s predicament.
Huma is currently in Lucknow for a month, shooting for Dedh Ishqiya. The Ek Thi Daayan team needs her to commit four days next month. Garg says, “For ETD Emraan Hashmi gave dates in mid-March, though he’s been busy shooting for an international film. He’s given us four days, so we are trying to get Huma’s dates around the same time.”
