What’s in a name?
Here’s a tidbit from the Agent Vinod shoot in Morocco. While the film’s unit was shooting at a location in the midst of the central market, Place Socco, Saif Ali Khan fancifully referred to the spot as “The Golden Farah”. Lo and behold, it seemed the entire cast was “infected” with the fancy and The Golden Farah was what the place was called for the duration of the shoot — only to have the locals soon follow suit.
“If you take a taxi when in Tangier and ask for The Golden Farah, you’ll be promptly taken to the location of the Agent Vinod shoot,” a crewmember excitedly told us. Talk about Bollywood’s influence!
