‘You need to be patient’

Jacqueline Fernandez, who started her career with an ambitious VFX affair Aladin a few years ago, is seeing a bunch of good films coming her way. The Race 2 actress has not only bagged Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kick starring Salman Khan, but she is also looking forward to her first film with Ranbir Kapoor, Roy.

However when contacted, Jackie didn’t let out much on either of these two projects. But she was more than happy to talk about her rising fortunes. She said, “I guess it is also a lot about being in the right projects. Yes, there has been a waiting period involved but then I am fine with that. I am okay to hold on for a while than being associated with something that may not work or doesn’t have potential. Patience is the number one virtue that one needs to have in this industry.”
Guess that is something that has paid off indeed for Jacqueline. An industry insider says, “Sajid Nadiadwala waited for over six months to get just the right actress who is a blend of glamour and acting skills. As far as Roy is concerned, she has a double role and needs to match Ranbir’s acting abilities.”
Let’s hope Jackie makes it all count.
