Zarine starts her birthday with a prayer

The pretty Zarine Khan, who made her debut opposite Salman Khan in Veer, celebrated her birthday on Friday. Zarine began the day on a spiritual note, offering prayers at Mumbai’s oldest dargah and later had a quiet get together with her family and friends.

A source close to the starlet said, “Zarine visited Mahim dargah, as she always does on her birthday. An intimate dinner with her family and close friends followed later in the day.” Incidentally, Zarine recently received an award from PETA after she rescued and adopted a stray cat. “Zarine was elated. She has always been an ardent animal lover. The award was just the perfect way to start off her birthday week,” the source added.
