Zayed told to mend his ways

Ever since he made it big in Bollywood as Shah Rukh Khan’s younger brother in Main Hoon Na, Zayed Khan was known as the wild boy of the industry. However, Zayed decided to give it a try and turn over a new leaf with his action flick Tezz directed by Priyadarshan.
“Around eight years ago, Zayed met Priyadarshan and expressed his desire to work with him. Totally raw and untested, Zayed was a tad unprepared, but a confident Priyan, didn’t completely dismiss him, but felt he had to mend his wild ways,” says a close friend of the actor.
First step in this direction for Zayed was to be an early riser, something that Priyadarshan expects from his actors. “Zayed remembered this and though he never got down to working with Priyan, he was sure that he would be able to impress the filmmaker one day and he did,” says the friend.
