Mitsubishi on Wednesday said it will increase the price of its newly launched sports utility vehicle Outlander by about two per cent from next month, thus withdrawing the introductory offer on the vehicle.

India’s cement export declined by 29 per cent to 2.27 million tonnes in 2009-10 fiscal, Rajya Sabha was informed on Wednesday. India had exported 3.2 million tonnes in the previous fiscal.

Bajaj Hindusthan, the country’s largest sugar manufacturer, on Wednesday reported a net loss of Rs 14.91 crore for the quarter. It had posted a net profit of Rs 60.08 crore in the year-ago period.

Hinduja group flagship firm Ashok Leyland on Wednesday said it has bagged an order for 1,000 buses, worth around $ 26 million from the People’s Leasing Company in Sri Lanka.

The government is likely to hike the price of natural gas produced from Cairn India-operated Ravva fields by 35 per cent to $ 4.75 in line with the rates it has approved for gas produced by ONGC.
