BSE Sensex recovers 49 points on funds buying
Mumbai, July 19: Paring its early losses, the Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex gained 49 points on revival of buying by funds.
The 30-share index, which had lost nearly 100 points at open, rebounded by 49.25 points to 18,005.07 at 1100 hrs.
The wide-based National Stock Exchange index Nifty also rose by 15.20 points to 5,409.10 at the same time.
Marketmen said buying was seen in some of the heavy-weight stocks, which had dropped to attractive low levels in early trade.
