New telecom majors on roll-out mode

The new telecom operators MTS, Uninor and Videocon have fast tracked their roll-out plans. Sistema’s, Indian subsidiary, MTS on Wednesday started its services in Goa. With this, the company now offers services in 12 telecom circles.

“With the services in Goa, we have completed our roll-out in the whole of South India. We will begin services in Gujarat with which we will complete our roll out in Central India. We will be moving to circles like Madhya Pradesh,” a senior official said.
