Pizza company bets big on South
Chennai: Keen to cash in on the increasing popularity of pizzas among south Indians, quick service restaurant firm Global Franchise Architects (GFA) is hoping to increase the number of Pizza Corner outlets in the region.
The company is hoping to invest about Rs 40 crore in the next two years to set up company-owned pizza outlets across the four southern states.
“Lion’s share of the Rs 40 crore investment will go towards setting up company-owned Pizza Corner outlets in south while it will be the master franchisee route akin to the eastern region in north and west India,” said Joseph Cherian, CEO of GFA.
About 15 new outlets are expected to come up by December 2013.
