Sensex down 28 points
Stock markets fell for the sixth straight session on Tuesday with the BSE Sensex down 28 points. During the day, the market had seen sharp swings of 200 points on either side. The Sensex has lost over 1,300 points since the beginning of the year. There is nervousness amongst international investors following the multiple scams of the past few months. There are also concerns that soon to be released IIP numbers may be weak. High inflation is also a cause of worry.
