Top Reliance Power official shot in Jharkhand

Unidentified assailants on Wednesday shot dead a senior official of Reliance Power Limited (RPL) and injured the company's vice-president in Jharkhand's Chatra district, police said.

"Manoj Ojha, deputy general manager of Reliance Power, has been shot dead and the company's vice president H. Buch has been injured in the firing," Jharkhand Police spokesperson K. Mallik said.

The company officials had visited Simeria and Barkakhana blocks in Chatra district to survey for land.
