Band Circus

Multi-band gigs seem to be a growing trend in Delhi’s music scene. Delhi-based progressive rock band, The Circus, recently hosted an event in the capital, where they shared the stage with musicians from 13 other city bands. “We launched our second album, Bats, and we thought we should do so in the company of our friends from the music fraternity and our fans,” says Arsh Sharma, vocalist and guitarist of The Circus.

Creative clamps irk filmmakers

The Censor Board seems to have gone a step further in clamping down on the creative freedom of filmmakers. The board has recently asked Kapil Sharma, the director of the upcoming Bollywood film, I Me Aur Main, to replace the word ‘sleep’ with the word ‘stay’, in the television promos of the film. Even in Sudhir Mishra’s last film, Inkaar, the Board asked the word ‘sex’ to be changed to ‘adjust’ for the TV promo.
