Tennis threat: No pay, no play
The country’s tennis stars — Leander Paes, Mahesh Bhupathi, Somdev Devvarman and Rohan Bopanna — on Friday threatened to pull out of the Delhi Commonwealth Games if they “were not paid their dues”, a move that jeopardises India’s run in tennis.
All credit to my coaches: Somdev
Somdev Devvarman, who on Friday became the first Indian to qualify for the opening round of the French Open since Leander Paes in 1997, credits his coaches for the achievement.
