Congress-DMK alliance strong, say PM, Karuna

Making up for any time lost in observing protocol, chief minister and DMK president M. Karunanidhi cemented the ongoing ties with the Congress by meeting Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at Raj Bhavan on Monday morning.

The speed with which the contentious telecom ministry was handed over to Mr Kapil Sibal has jolted the DMK.
