In Firozabad, RLD to campaign for SP

Nov. 1: The Rashtriya Lok Dal, still a member of the NDA, will now campaign for the Samajwadi Party in Firozabad. RLD MP Jayant Choudhury will campaign for SP candidate Dimple Yadav on November 4, turning the Firozabad campaign into a perfect showcase for youth power. Congress MP Rahul Gandhi campaigned for Congress candidate Raj Babbar two days ago while SP MP Akhilesh Yadav has been campaigning for his wife who is the SP candidate here.

Cong in a fix over Marandi demand

Nov. 1: Even as the Congress succeeded in bringing Jharkhand Vikas Manch (JVM) chief Babulal Marandi on the negotiating table to stitch a pre-poll tie-up, the deadlock continued to haunt the two with the tribal leader asking for 32 seats to contest. He is being offered not more than 25 of the total 81 seats in the state Assembly.
