GMR net profit plunges by 43%
GMR Infrastructure on Tuesday said that its net profit has declined 43.31 per cent to Rs 158.40 crore in the fiscal 2010 from Rs 279.45 crore in the same period a year ago.
Revenue, however, has gone up by 14 per cent at Rs 4,566.5 crore in FY10 from Rs 4,019.2 crore in FY09. The decline in net profit, according to the company, is mainly due to the absence of revenues from the decommissioned 235 MW barge mounted power plant during the year.

23 die in Andhra as Laila wreaks havoc
