The Supreme Court on Tuesday issued suo motu clarification in Australian missionary Graham Staines and his two minor sons’ murder case judgment pronounced four days back without citing any reason for ordering the amendments in two crucial paragraphs on the conclusions drawn by the top court.

PC, GJM meet on Gorkhaland

Home minister P. Chidambaram on Tuesday held a meeting with the Gorkha Janmukti Morcha on the demand for statehood to Gorkhaland and is understood to have deliberated on setting up of a regional authority for Gorkhas in Darjeeling. Bihar goats drink rum to beat chill

Pranab: No names on black money

Slammed by the Opposition and the Supreme Court over the issue of black money stashed abroad, the government defended itself on Wednesday by saying that it has put in place a five-pronged strategy to tackle it. At the same time, it said that it cannot disclose the names of Indians with black money in Liechtenstein’s LGT Bank and information given by other countries owing to the absence of a legal framework.
