A benchmark index for Indian equities markets on Thursday closed 102 points up even as broader markets gave up their gains to end flat.

Continuing its last week's rally, two-wheeler major Hero Honda Motors on Monday surged by over six per cent on BSE after the company declared a 3,500 per cent interim dividend of Rs 70 per equity share of Rs 2 each.
