Leading industry lobby Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) on Monday announced the appointment of Rajiv Kumar as its new secretary general after Amit Mitra resigned from the position to take up the mantle of the new finance minister of West Bengal.

New Delhi, July 26: A leading industry lobby Monday cautioned against raising the 26 percent cap in foreign direct investment, saying a decision on this "will require careful thinking and analysis".
