With government battling one controversy after another, a national meet of Youth Congress on Monday saw demands for greater role for Rahul Gandhi in national politics with home minister P. Chidambaram saying that elders at some point of time must step back and give way to younger leaders.

After successfully carrying out elections for the first time in the Youth Congress, Rahul Gandhi will address to the Gen Next party activists on Monday .

AICC general secretary Rahul Gandhi on Friday said there should be more participation of the youth in the nation's political and electoral scenario.
