T. Nandini, a first year B.Sc Maths student of Quaid-e-Millath College for Women, came to know through her senior that she could receive textbooks free of cost from Rajasthan Youth Association Book Bank Project and return them after completion of studies.
“The books are too expensive and when my senior told me about this project I was relieved as I would not end up bothering my parents,” said the student.
Nandini was one of the 2,500 first year students who received textbooks at the 49th annual textbooks distribution function of Rajasthan Youth Association(RYA) that was held at Kamaraj Hall on Sunday.
Union Minister D. Napoleon and MP P. Viswanathan who were present at the function lauded RYA’s efforts.
