Cancelled TNPSC group II exam on November 4
The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission on Wednesday announced that Group II re-examinations would be conducted on November 4. The TNPSC had cancelled the Group II examination held across the state over a month ago following allegations of a question paper leak. The authorities have launched an investigation into the allegations and arrested several people involved in the racket.
The commission had earlier said it would hold a meeting and decide on a suitable date to conduct the re-examinations. “ We will be conducting the exams on November 4. The candidates can check the commission’s website for further details,” said TNPSC chairman R. Nataraj.
He went on to add that the venue for the examination has not been decided yet but it would be announced within the next 10 days.
The chairman said all those who had appeared for Group II examinations could attend the exams again and even those who had applied earlier but were absent could sit for the upcoming exams. “ The candidates need not pay any examination fees. The usual format will be followed and there will be a morning and afternoon session. All arrangements are in progress,” he said.
