Chennai is in for more rain

With weather models showing low-pressure area moving towards northeast and northwest, there could be some respite from continuous rain in Tamil Nadu starting Thursday.

While heavy rains are expected for the next two days, the wet spell might slowly dissipate by October 25 and Chennai could see sunshine for a few days, said Dr Y. E. A. Raj, deputy director general of Meteorology, Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC), Chennai.

“We will definitely get rains on Monday and Tuesday. But, we are expecting clear sunshine for at least three days from Thursday,” he added. Weather website have also predicted sunny days
