CIT to offer courses at MARG
With an aim to train students in vocational programmes Marg limited signed a memorandum of understanding with Central Institute of Technology (CIT), Australia, to offer various vocational courses in India by setting up a centre at MARG Swarnabhoomi, near here.
Neil Fernandes, managing director, CIT and A.P. Ganessh Ram, chief executive officer, MARG Swarnabhoomi signed the MoU. Initially, CIT and MARG will offer vocational courses in the area of music business, architectural technology and building, civil, structural engineering and drafting, furniture and industry and interior design, mining and interactive multimedia. G. R. K. Reddy, chairman and managing director, MARG group said, “Our education city within MARG Swarnabhoomi will soon house leading international education brands from all over the world.
The partnership with CIT is aimed at addressing the growing demand for quality vocational education in India.
The current scenario calls upon highly specialized and globally competitive talent to meet our industrial needs”.
MARG will earmark necessary infrastructure upto one lakh Sq.ft. at Amrita park in Swarnabhoomi for delivery of selected courses.
“The serene environment and high quality vocational courses will set standards in academic proficiency,” Mr Neil Fernandes said.
