Class 10 exam results June 4 at 1.30 pm

Class 10 board examination results will be declared on June 4 and, surprisingly, the results will be out at 1.30 pm and not the usual 9 am as done every year.

Nearly 11.5 lakh students had appeared for board exams under Samacheer Kalvi syllabus last month even as 13,176 boys and 6,393 girls appeared as private candidates. Usually, class 10 results are out in the last week of May, but this time the results were delayed as exams had commenced only in the first week of April.

For the first time, students also appeared for practical examination. And in another first of its kind move, both Plus-2 (results of which will be announced on May 22) and Class 10 marksheets will carry photographs of students.
