Collectors get transfer orders

The state government on Monday effected a transfer of IAS officers.

The Kancheepuram district collector Hanish Chhabra was replaced with L. Sitherasenan, additional director of Agriculture. Mr Chabbra is posted to act as additional director of agriculture.

Further, Namakkal collector J. Kumaragurubaran has been transferred and posted to act as director of information and public relations vice Dr P. Shankar, director of information & public relation who has been transferred and posted as Vellore collector.

According to an official release here Vellore collector Ajay Yadav is transferred and posted as joint commissioner of municipal administration vice Dr. D. Jagannathan who will be the collector for Namakkal district.

Deputy secretary to government (Protocol), public department, P. Senthilkumar has been posted to
act as Ariyalur collector vice Anu George who will replace Mr Senthilkumar, as joint secretary to government (protocol), public department the release said.

The government had on August 30 transferred and posted senior IAS officers including Dr Niranjan Mardi, principal secretary to government, MSME department, who has been posted as principal secretary to government, highways & minor ports in the place of T.K. Ramachandran, transferred and posted as commissioner of milk production & dairy development, Aavin.
