DC report stops sewage overflow
After DC highlighted the plights of motorists and pedestrians due to sewage overflow on Paper Mills Road, officials swung into action and cleared the block.
It was an arduous task on Sunday for the motorists and pedestrian who were crossing arterial Paper mills road on Perambur as the stretch near the Gandhi statue bus stop was flooded with sewage water leaking from a manhole.
Pedestrians and motorists were finding difficult to cross the stretch, as passing heavy vehicle splashed sewage water on them. Deccan Chronicle reported it on Monday’s issue.
Following this, metro water officials took immediate action on Monday morning and cleared the stagnated sewage water on road, besides removing the sewer block.
