DVAC stall inspires visitors to take stand against corruption
More than 10,000 people who visited the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC) stall at the 38th trade fair at Island Ground took an oath against corruption.
The stall for DVAC, the first at the trade fair since the directorate was set up in 1964, won the best pavilion award for best interiors. A DVAC press release said the stall was mainly used to create awareness against corruption.
The people at the stall also asked for suggestions and complaints from visitors and noted them in a separate register. The DVAC office is taking action against the complaints, the directorate said.
A small visiting card containing the telephone numbers and mobile numbers of the officers of DVAC detachments throughout Tamil Nadu was also issued to the public.
An interactive true or false computer game about corruption was also set up for children.
