Face ‘false’ cases legally, Karuna tells partymen
With several of his partymen facing 'false cases', DMK chief M. Karunanidhi on Saturday asked his cadre from the legal cell to face those cases legally.
Addressing the DMK legal wing meeting here, he said the party, himself and general secretary Anbalagan had faced several cases including Jain Commission in the past. He said compared to them, the cases faced by the party workers now were nothing.
Alleging that the Jayalalithaa-led government was against his party cadres including K.P.P. Samy, he said even CPI(M) members expressed doubts over the law and order situation in the state.
Referring to the murder of Ramajayam, brother of K. N. Nehru, he said it has been two months since the crime took place and the guilty still remained at large.
