It’s going to get worse. Weathermen said Wednesday a harsher climate awaited TN residents in the next few days.

Nungambakkam recorded 39.5 degrees Celsius Wednesday, while the temperature in Meenambakkam was 40.9. “We cannot call it a heat wave, but the temperature has turned a bit uncomfortable,” a MET official said.
