BJP senior L.K. Advani’s blog admission that a non-Congress, non-BJP Prime Minister supported by one of them is ‘feasible’ post poll-2014 has caused fresh excitement in AIADMK circles.

Senior leaders as well as the cadre recall party supremo J. Jayalalithaa’s confidence in declaring during the general council meet last December that the AIADMK would decide who would be the next PM.

“Advani’s statement only strengthens our faith that our leader will play a prominent role in choice of the next Prime Minister. Many of us strongly believe that Amma herself could emerge as the popular choice post-poll,” said an AIADMK senior, requesting anonymity.
