Kollywood dreams make girl land in chennai

A 20-year-old girl hailing from Tirupur district who had come to Chennai with dreams of making it big in Tamil film industry was reunited with her parents by the police.

Police said Nandini, 20, of Anuparapalayam in Tirupur district, who completed Plus-2 had come to Chennai to try her luck in Tamil cinema.

Following enquiries on the prospects of a career in Tamil film industry, she decided to travel to Chennai.

After arriving in Chennai, she visited the AVM studio in Vadapalani where she was found wandering by passers-by who in turn alerted the Virugambakam police.

Later she was picked up by the police and taken to the police station. Interrogations revealed that
she had come to Chennai seeking a chance in Kollywood.

However the police officers informed Nandini’s parents and handed her over to them.
