Serial director arrested for flesh trade
The anti-vice squad of the Chennai police arrested a television serial assistant director-cum-dance director for allegedly running a flesh trade racket along with pimps and rescued the women.
The arrested director was identified as Anbu, 27, a resident of Porur. The police team arrested him in Vadapalani when he was trying to fix a ‘deal’ on behalf of a woman claiming to be a junior artiste.
“It was decoy operation, we arrested him and rescued the woman,” the police said.
He had worked as assistant director in two television serials and also worked as a dance director for stage shows.
