Six CCTVs installed in court campus
Six more CCTVs were installed in the Madras high court campus on Thursday, in addition to the existing three, with 16 more likely to be installed soon.
Chief Justice M.Y. Eqbal inaugurated a control room on the northern side of the high court. The control room will be manned by an inspector of police, two sub-inspectors and four officers to monitor the CCTVs.
Justices D. Murugesan and C. Nagappan, city police commissioner J.K. Tripathy, MHAA vice-president R. Murali and former president R.C. Paul Kanagaraj, besides WLA president D. Prasanna participated in the function.
