SPs transferred in Tamil Nadu

Two deputy commissioners of police from Chennai city police are among the 20 police officials transferred in the state on Friday.

According to a release from the home department, deputy commissioner of police, T Nagar, Ashok Kumar has been transferred and posted as superintendent of police, Krishnagiri. The new T Nagar DC will be R. Sivakumar after his promotion.

S. Bhaskaran, DC, Triplicane has been transferred and posted as DC, at Madurai head quarters. P. Saravanan has been promoted and posted as new DC, Triplicane. S. Maheswaran has been promoted and posted as DC Washermanpet, to fill the existing vacancy.

I. Eswaran is promoted and posted as the new SP in Vellore while the present SP, A. Kayalvizhi, has been posted as SP, railways, Chennai. P. Kannammal has been promoted and posted as the new SP, Namakkal and the present SP, Sathiya Priya has been posted as DC, law and order, Tiruchy. S. Selvakumar will be the new crime DC at Tiruchy after his promotion.

N. Manivannan has been posted as the new DC, law and order, Tirunelveli and A. Jayalakshmi on promotion has been posted as DC, crime, Madurai. P. Saminathan, on promotion has been asked to take charge in Coimbatore as DC, head quarters. K. Rajasekharan will be the new SP of Perambalur.

P. Perumal has been promoted and posted as SP, CB-CID while Ara. Arularasu will be the new SP, special division, SB-CID after promotion.
