Stalin promises to visit Kolathur twice a month
DMK treasurer and Kolathur MLA M.K. Stalin on Sunday assured his constituency public that he will visit their localities twice a month to hear their grievances.
After taking part in a consultation meeting of Peravalur Resident’s Welfare Association, Mr Stalin said he would continue to work to improve the basic facilities in Kolathur constituency. “People have given petitions seeking basic facilities like drinking water and roads.
I will try to fulfil their demands,” he said, adding that he will forward the petitions to the concerned department officials, if needed he will even meet them.
On the issue vacating his office, Mr Stalin said that the ruling party cannot relish the idea of him visiting the constituency to meet the people. “I am expecting a favourable order in the case filed by him in the Madras high court challenging the move to remove the MLA office,” he said.
